| Police Regional Office 6 held its Monday Flag raising and awarding ceremony as it celebrates its 26th PNP Foundation Day today (February 27) at Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City.
Police Senior Superintendent Christopher E Tambungan, Deputy Regional Director for Operation (DRDO) led the ceremonial wreath laying offered to fallen heroes of the region.
Furthermore, PRO6 awards Plaque of Appreciation to Mayors Hon. Jed Patrick Mabilog, Iloilo City, Hon. Carina Flores, Oton, Iloilo, Hon. John Tarrosa, Zarraga, Iloilo and Hon. Tito Mayo. Cuartero, Capiz, Mr. George Orola, Chedmaryl Construction and Supply, Mr Danny Jolipa, General Manager, Micro-Asia Builders Corporation, Mr Nelson Uygongco, President, Speedmasters Gun Club Incorporated,Pastor Rick Martin, Founder, Iloilo Baptist Church and Mr Eduardo Cang Jr, Team Leader, Pathway to Recovery Foundation Incorporated for their invaluable services rendered to PRO6.

Five (5) Police Officer 1 who were responsible in composing and singing of Police Regional Office 6 Jingles receive Medalya ng Papuri
(PNP Commendation Medal) this morning, February 13 at Camp Delgado.
These Mandirigmang Mang-aawit are PO1s Jesril Supeda, Marvin Dariangan, Demas Rullan, Philip James Gumban and Jason Gentilezo.
There songs are; Anti-Criminality “Pag-iingat”; Anti-Drugs Campaign “Pagbabago” and Tourist Protection “Be Safe” This songs brings
awareness and safety to the community
Furthermore, the Tourist Protection Jingle “Be Safe” MTV is being played in one of the Television Station in the Province of Aklan wherein
ASEAN 2017 is being held. This is one way in reaching out to the public about crime information and dissemination for their safety and security.
To note, all jingles were downloading to all provincial and city police office all over Western Visayas and there will be more
