Above named police officers were members of Regional Intelligence Division and Iloilo Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Branch (PSOG-IPPO) who was able to arrest Antonio Cayayan Aguino, listed as PRO6 Top Most Wanted Person with Reward at Brgy. Sapa, Mandaluyong City in Benecia Bingo Electronics Corporation inside the Blue Wave Mall in Marikina City last December 15, 2017 by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ernesto Mediodia for the crime of Murder

Police Regional Office 6 would like to inform the Public that Western Visayas remains generally peaceful and stable despite of the atrocities committed by CTs in Sibalom and Maasin.

           

Accordingly, WV is one among the ideal place to live, work, visit and invest in the country for there is;

  • No high-profile crime
  • No political killings
  • No liquidation of prominent personalities
  • No kidnap for ransom
  • No terrorist bombing incidents

The crime environment is favorable to the economy. Crime volume reduced by 70.60% or 14,095 from 80, 093 incidents covering the period of January to November 2016 to 65,998 crime incidents in the current year.

Index crime also decreased by 3, 765 0r 15.95% (23, 290 vs 19,525) and average monthly crime rate by 15.33 (92.27%vs 76.94).

While, crime solution efficiency increased by 51.93% or 0.73 % higher than the previous year. Same also with the crime clearance efficiency increased to 59.47% or 0.84% higher than last year.

We perform in our anti-criminality campaign where in we accomplished the following;

           

In anti- illegal drugs operations, the regions conducted ,285 operations, 1, 976 persons were arrested and 2, 085 cases were filed in court.

In illegal gambling, 429 operations, 726 were arrested and 403 cases were filed in court.

Moreover, PRO6 confiscated 975 firearms, 421 arrested and 356 cases were filed I court.

Meanwhile, PRO6 in its way for transformation, 1, 543 personnel were required to undergo drug test and 11 personnel underwent CADET training.

                       

PRO6 would like to thanks and assures the public that every bodies safety is our concern. Police Regional Office 6 receives 1, 500 pieces of tactical backpack, 1, 500 pieces of bandolier and 1, 500 pieces of tropical combats boots from Philippine Loans and Savings Incorporated at Camp Delgado earlier morning of December 11.
 
The equipment is for the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 personnel to be used for their Internal Security Operations.
 
The turn-over and signing of deed of donation was led by the PSSLAI Marketing Representative Mrs Lelian Dison Catequista and Customer Service Assistance Mrs Jennifer Matorre and it was received by the PRO6 director Police Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorn R Binag.
 
The Western Visayas top cop extends his heartfelt gratitude to PSSLAI for its continuous support in intensifying the capability enhancement of PRO6.

Police Chief Superintendent Cesar Hawthorn R Binag Police Regional Office 6 director awards medals to deserving PNP personnel of Western Visayas at Camp Delgado on December 11, 2017.
 
The Medalya ng Papuri or the PNP Commendation Medal were given to Police Superintendents Gilbert Gorero, Frederick Obar, PO3s Johnrey Laru-an, Russel Japitana, PO2 Terence John Soria and PO1s Kimberly Hope Bendita, Arvin Brlarga and Gerald Grajales for being the blood donors during the Nationwide “Dugong Bombo 2017” Blood Donation Activity last November 18, 2017 in the provinces of Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo Province and Iloilo City.
 
Same awards were to Police Superintendent Jonathan Pablito, Police Senior Inspector Victor Bacinillo, SPO2 Dulcinea Bacinillo, SPO1 Janet Cadigal, PO3 Carther Shan Eslofor and PO1s Girly Pimentel, Jesril John Supeda, Demar Rullan, Marvin Dariangan, Jason Gentilezo, Philip James Gumban, Val Allan Lisay and Denmark Gabiham for having demonstrated exemplary performance during the “GOD Bless our PRO6 cops” concert last November 29, 2017 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
 
Moreover, the Medalya ng Kasanayan or the PNP Efficiency Medal were awarded to SPO4 Ray Jason Gimeno, NUPs Mark Balgos and Jenelyn Obsequio members of PRO6 Regional Recruitment Screening Committee and Secretariat for their hard work, diligence and efforts by working the evaluation, screening and selection process during the Recruitment Program activated last July 2017.
        
 
Plaque and Certificate of Recognition were also given to Mr Matthew Tajala, Chief Executive Officer, Frederick Ichanes, Executive Administration and Orean Ace Omapas, of the MKF Production, Talents and Events Inc. for their evaluable service rendered to PRO6 during the GOD Bless Our Cops Concert.
 
The activity happened during the Monday Flag raising Ceremony with Ms. Lelian Pison Catequista, PSSLA Marketing Representative as Guest of Honor and Speaker.

The Police Regional Office 6 headed by Police Chief Superintendent Cesar hawthorn R Binag, Task Force Crusaders for Democracy and Hugpong Federal Movement of the Philippines sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at PRO6 Headquarters earlier this morning, December 4.
 
This MOU is a forging friendship between the PRO6 and the two non-government organization. 
 
They will help and support PRO6 in maintaining peace and order, reduce criminality and fighting terrorism in Western Visayas.
 
Present during the activity were MR. Ian C Paclibar, Regional Commander, Mr. Juanito Magbanua all were from Task Force Crusader for Democracy Inc and Mr Fortunato Pelaez President, Visayas Management Council, Hugpong Federal Movement of the Philippines Inc.
