PRO6 launched its first covenant signing on counter-terrorist early today March 30, 2017 at Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Martin Teofilo B. Delgado, Iloilo City.

Covenant signing on counter-terrorist was decentralized through the initiative of Police Chief Superintendent Jose Gentiles, Regional Director Police Regional Office 6 with the coordination and support of 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army and the Muslim Religious leaders/communities in Western Visayas.

The activity was attended by the members of the police force, the Philippine Army headed by Col. Pio Diñoso III, Commander of 301 Brigade and the Moro members from the different provinces of Panay Island. It was spearheaded by RD Gentiles.

Chairperson Hadji Muammar Faisal Arumpac of United federation of Muslim Association in Western Visayas was also present during the said activity and dilivered his symphathetic message on counter-terrorist campaign.

The goal of the activity, is to ensure and align a comprehensive program and activities of SALAAM Police Center in the implementation of peacebuilding and counter-radicalization program of the PNP along with its counter-terrorist campain with the theme “Shared Responsibility in Building Lasting Peace”. This is in support to the campaign against terrorism of the present administration.

Police Chief Superintendent Jose Gentiles, PRO-6 top cop expressed his gratitude for the symbolic support of the Philippine Army and Muslim Religious leaders/communities in the whole region of Panay in the campaign against terrorism.
