The Task Group Iloilo achieved its goal; no major incidents took place during the ASEAN 2017 meeting in Iloilo especially to the delegates.

Major Events Security Frameworks (MESF) deployments which utilizes all available personnel, resources of the government and other law enforcement agency works effectively and efficiently.

Police Chief Superintendent Jose Gentiles, Task Group (TG) Iloilo Commander congratulates and thankful to the 21 member agencies, the men and women of PRO6, the Tri-media, the Iloilo City government and the community for their cooperation in making the activity a success. “We made the activity successful, secured and orderly. It was the result of concerted efforts of all task units involved.” Gentiles said.

Furthermore, Under Secretary Cesar Yano, being the chairmain of Committee on Security, Peace and Order, Emergency Preparedness and Response (CSPOEPR) also expresses his gratitude to TG Iloilo for the job well done.

Moreover, there is only 1 incident recorder for violation of the gun ban, this is the result of effective and efficient information dessimination of the gun ban effective March 03 to 20, 2017 thru tri-media.

To note: a total of were  4, 461 individuals were deployed, 19 were from the  Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), 1 from Dpartment of National Defense (DND), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) 1, Department of Tourism (DOT) 19, Department of Health (DOH) 186, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 63, Philippine National Police  (PNP) 2, 641, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) 539, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) 6, National Intelligence Coordinationg Agency (NICA) 33. Bureau of Immigration (BI) 4, Office of the Civil Defence (OCD) 68,Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) 211, Civil Avaition Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) 86,  Presidential Security Group (PSG) 484, National Telecommunication Company (NTC) 14, Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) 10, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) 25, Other Law Enforment Agency (OLEA) 31 and 20 from Local Government Unit (LGU).
